Alice E. Shelburne

Mrs. Alice E. Shelburne, age 82, died Sunday, October 19, 2008 in Rochester Hills MI. She was born in Ravenna, MI on June 3, 1926 to Lawrence & Kitty (Shavalier) Humphreys and married Jack R. Shelburne I on November 27, 1948. Mrs. Shelburne had been employed as a Customer Service Rep at Michigan Gas Utilities until retiring. She was a 4-H leader who enjoyed gardening, sewing, bowling & reading. But foremost was always her family. SURVIVORS Son, Jack (Donna) Shelburne II of Greensboro NC; daughter, Sue Ann (Harry) Tremonti of Rochester Hills MI; grandchildren, Elizabeth Tremonti, Alex Tremonti, Jack Shelburne III; brother, Leo Humphreys. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack I, parents & brother, Dr. Robert Humphreys. SERVICE Saturday, October 25, 2008, 11:00 AM at Clock Chapel-Grand Haven. Interment at Fruitport Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Hospice.
