Mrs. Alice A. Reinertson, age 95, passed away on Sunday morning, Mothers Day with her three daughters at her side, following a long illness. Alice was born on March 31, 1913 in Colfax, WI the 6th of 11 children to Christian and Helga (Johnson) Christianson. Alice graduated from Colfax High School in 1931 and moved to Muskegon in 1934. She met and then married Mr. E. Edward Reinertson in Muskegon on November 4, 1939. Edward preceded her in death on December 23, 1993. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Reinertson was employed as a sales clerk at Neumode Hosiery. Alice was a faithful member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a former member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school. Survivors: three daughters, Diane (Ken) Kadrovich of Norton Shores, Connie (Tom) Larson of Muskegon and Beth (Eber) Sheffield of Grand Haven; two sisters, Opal Johnson and Lorraine (Howard) Hovde both of Minnesota; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, 11:00 A.M. at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1206 Whitehall Rd., Rev. William Uetricht officiating. Visitation: This evening, 6-8 P.M. at the Lee Chapel. She will be laid to rest in Mona View Cemetery.
