Alice Mathews

Mrs. Alice F. Mathews, age 89, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012. She was born in Ravenna, MI on May 9, 1922 to Ira & Blanche (McMeans) Sweet and married Arnold Mathews on August 31, 1957. Mrs. Mathews had been employed as a machine operator at American Coil Springs until retiring. She was a member of VFW Don Rea Post 8846 Auxiliary and will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Daughter-in-law, Roberta Fisher; stepdaughters, Irene Williamson, Susan Harrington; 12 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Carol Green; brother, David Sweet; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arnold; sons, John & Robert Fisher; brothers, Robert & Earl Sweet. SERVICE Saturday, March 24, 2011, 2:00 PM at the VFW Don Rea Post 8846.
