Alfred "Al" Perri

Mr. Alfred J. "Al" Perri, age 88, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012. He was born in Muskegon, MI on March 30, 1923 to Pasquale & Anna (Costable) Perri and married the former Alice Buckley. Mr. Perri was a decorated US Army combat veteran of WWII and had been the owner of Al Perri Furniture for over 30 years until retiring. Al was a long time member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and a strong supporter of Catholic Central High School and Notre Dame sports. He and Alice enjoyed world travel, but foremost was always his family. SURVIVORS Brother, William Perri Sr. of Muskegon; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; brothers, Louis, Henry & Robert; sisters, Rose Perri & Genevieve Flora. SERVICE Thursday, January 19, 2012, 11:00 AM with visitation and Rosary Service at 10:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Fr. Anthony Pelak officiating and Military Honors under the Auspices of the Muskegon County Council of Veterans. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Muskegon Catholic Central Green & Gold Club.
