Alfred Michelsen

Mr. Alfred E. "Fred" Michelsen, age 59, died Saturday, August 18, 2012. He was born in Munich, Germany on July 21, 1953 to Norman & Anne (Aase) Michelsen and served his country in the US Army. Fred married Rita (Carlson) Michelsen on October 10, 1975. He had been employed in maintenance for Reeths Puffer Public Schools for 28 years until retiring in 2010 and was also the owner and operator of the Ready Music Professional D.J. Service. He was a former member of Samuel Lutheran Church. Fred always said that music was his life, but his family was always foremost in his heart. SURVIVORS Wife of 36 years, Rita, daughters, Sarah (Jayson) Michelson-Bush of FL, Tara (Dan) VandenBosch of TN; sons, Eric Michelsen of MI, Carl (Rose White) Michelsen of FL; grandchildren, Cruz Scott, Zackary & Taya VandenBosch, Bailey, Devin & Deacon Bush; sisters, Debbie (Julie Deschaine) Michelsen, Lisa Mucci; brother, Charles Michelsen.
