Alfred Jones Jr, age 64, departed this life on Saturday morning June 24,2023. Alfred was born on March 5, 1959 to the union of Alfred Jones Sr. and Clara Jones-Henderson in New Orleans, Louisiana at Charity Hospital. Alfred was the 7th oldest of 10 children born to this union. Alfred graduated and received his diploma, he worked as a general laborer in Columbus, Mississippi as an offshore driller and then in Muskegon at K&L Industries & Toombs Funeral Home. Alfred was a son, brother, father, husband grandfather and great grandfather. He was a humble, loving, kind, tender-hearted, giving, sharing man and was very helpful to all. Alfred would give the shirt off his back if anyone needed help. We are not saying this because he was our big brother. We say this because it's the truth about him. We Love You. R.I.P. - Your Family.

Alfred truly has a heart like his Father in Heaven. He was a man with a meek spirit and he definitely was a peace keeper.

Death is not the final end, but it's a new beginning to transitioning from life to eternal life in the presence of the Lord.

SURVIVORS

Alfred Jones Jr leaves to cherish in his memory his beloved wife of 35 years, Shelly Jones; Siblings Eddis (Yvette) Jones, Lynn (Doug) Kelley, Pamela (Breck) Chandler all of Muskegon Michigan. Host of nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great nephews, great nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, and a very special friend Marvin "Frog" Smith. Alfred is proceeded in death by his Lord Jesus Christ, his mother Clara Jones Henderson, Father, Alfred Jones Sr, Sisters, Doris Alfred, Mae Kelly, Nauvin Florien Jr, Diann Mallory-Reed, Andrea Lee Banks, Earl Lee Jones and his son Alfred Jones III. (Little Alfred); aunts and uncles.

SERVICES

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023, 12:00 PM at Kingdom Embassy Covenant Church with Pastor Arthur Duren officiating.
