Alfred Guevin

Mr. Alfred N. Guevin, age 74, died Wednesday morning, March 14, 2007. He was born in Westbrook, Maine in 1932 to Armand and Irene (Demers) Guevin and married the former Sheila Smith in 1956. Alfred served in the Maine National Guard and four years in the U.S. Air Force. He had been employed 35 years at S.D. Warren/Kimberly Clark Paper Company until retiring. Alfred is survived by his wife, Sheila; 4 children, Michael (Mildred) of Ypsilanti, MI, Anthony of Muskegon, Lisa (Greg) Runion of Sylvania, OH, Melanie (Mark) Meade of Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, Connor and Alayne Meade, Brynn Runion; 4 brothers, Donald (Patricia) of The Woodlands, TX, Richard (Theresa) of Chesapeake, VA, Maurice of Windham, ME, Gilbert of Buxton, ME; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Muriel and Lucille; and a niece, Heather. Private family services will be held as requested by Mr. Guevin. Burial will take place in Fort Custer National Cemetery. MEMORIALS to Harbor Hospice will be appreciated.
