Aletha Johnson

Mrs. Aletha Janet Johnson, age 85, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012. She was born in Empire, MI on June 25, 1926 to Charles & Beatrice (Clancy) Meredith and married Clarence "Barney" Johnson on September 18, 1948. Mrs. Johnson had been a bookkeeper for 28 years retiring from Bowen & Milas in 1986. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS Husband of 63 years, Clarence; sons, Ronald (Marcia) Johnson, Mark Johnson, both of Muskegon; daughters, Cheryl (Vernon) Brown of Muskegon, Michele (Steve) Shaw of IN; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Corienne Owings. SERVICE Friday, June 1, 2012 11 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, 2651 Shettler Rd. with Pastor Timothy Winkel officiating. MEMORIAL: In lieu of flowers please give to Grace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or Harbor Hospice. VISITATION One hour prior to the service at Grace Lutheran Church.
