Alberta Kerberski

Mrs. Alberta Wilma Kerberski passed away peacefully on February 27, 2007 on her 94th birthday. She was born in Reed City, MI, the eighth of ten children, to Frank W. and Rosaltha (Montague) Cross and moved to Muskegon as a child. She married Floyd L. Kerberski and he preceded her in death in 1979. She and her husband co-owned and operated the Buckeye Resort in Houghton Lake, MI. Mrs. Kerberski was a member of the Fruitport Eagles and loved to fish and play pool. Alberta loved to spend time with her family including all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by 1 daughter, Carol (Lindsay) Jahn of Fruitport; a son-in-law, Lucky Berry of Twin Lake; 1 sister, Clara Rull of Cloverville; 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Berry in 2003. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Friday 2 P.M. at the Lee Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Anderson presiding. INTERMENT: Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. MEMORIALS: Harbor Hospice.
