Albert Henry Hurst

Hurst, Mr Albert Henry III Muskegon, Michigan Mr. Albert Henry Hurst III, age 73, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022. He was born in Buffalo, NY on May 2, 1948 to Albert & Jean (Dixon) Hurst Jr. In high school Albert was quarterback of the football team, catcher for the baseball team and also played basketball and was later inducted into the Starpoint Central High School Sports Hall of Fame. Mr. Hurst had worked as a Construction Supervisor for Tridonn and Rohde Construction before becoming a bank courier for Choice One Bank, a job he really enjoyed. He was a loyal friend, loving father, and an avid golfer, spending many days at Westwind Golf Course with his buddies. He enjoyed Thursday dinners at Pints & Quarts and Saturday breakfasts at the Cherokee where he was known for his quick wit and a great sense of humor. You could always count on Albert to help out with any house project for friends or family, as well as his constant doting on his grandchildren. He was sure to attend any event to support them and be involved. Albert was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. SURVIVORS Daughters, Kelly (Mark) Phillips, Missy Ward, Jodi Hurst-Hood, Cari (Richard Burke) Hurst; Step-son Jeff (Denise) Westbrook; Grandchildren, Olivia, Keaton, Lillian; Brother, Phillip (Gale) Hurst; many golfing buddies and his faithful dog Wall-E. He was preceded in death by his parents; Sister, Linda; and his Uncle Junior (Sue) Dixon. SERVICE Friday, February 25, 2022, 3:00 PM at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Douglas Cengiz officiating.
