Agnes Horness

Agnes Horness, age 105, died Thursday, November 27, 2008. She was born in Fruitport, MI on June 30, 1903 to Syvero & Annette (Pedersen) Horness. Miss Horness had worked on the staff of Wheaton College in the business and administrative offices for over 45 years until retiring & moving back to Muskegon in 1978. She was a member of Olivet Evangelical Free Church and loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We will remember her zeal in encouraging others to seek Him, for her prayer life, and her articulate wit. SURVIVORS Nephew, Joseph W. Horness; nieces, Ruth Morrison Schrader, Margorie Horness; many grand nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ole & Joseph; 4 sisters, Dena, Jennie, Betsy, & Ella. SERVICE Saturday, December 20, 2008, 1:00 PM at Olivet Evangelical Free Church with Rev. Craig Cramblet officiating. VISITATION Saturday, December 20, 2008, 1/2 hour prior to the service.
