HEWITT, MRS. AGNES R. Muskegon, MI Mrs. Agnes R. Hewitt, died Wednesday, July 9, 2003. She was born in Weare Township on August 6, 1922 to Joseph & Florence Ziegler Alvesteffer. Agnes married Wesley J. Hewitt on October 17, 1942. She was a homemaker, raising nine children. Agnes loved gardening, baking cookies for her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren & spending time with her family. SURVIVORS Husband of 60 years, Wesley; children, Fr. Dennis Ruth Hewitt, Sharon Bob Scanlan, Kathy William Wahl, Lois Michael Greene, Carolyn George Zietlow, Joe Gayle Hewitt, Dave Angie Hewitt, Jim Marsha Hewitt, Pam Bob Waybill; 23 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers & sisters, Leo Dorothy Alvesteffer, Eleanor Alvesteffer, Bob Valeria Alvesteffer, Gerry Malburg, Gilbert Clarabelle Alvesteffer, Ralph Wanda Alvesteffer, Roseanne Stan Gross, Louise Harold Schaner, Maxine Paul VanDyke, Lornella Faucher, Charlene Dick Birkman, Judy Howard Haight & by a sister-in-law, Betty Heistand. She was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, James Wright, brother, Ronald Alvesteffer, brothers-in-law, Michael Malburg, Thomas Faucher, Orville Heistand & Robert Hewitt. FUNERAL MASS Friday, July 11, 2003, 11:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Hart presiding. VISITATION Thursday, 7-9 PM with a Scripture Service at 7:30 PM at Clock Funeral Home & Friday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
