Agnes Bogert

Mrs. Agnes May Bogert, age 95, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 20, 2015. She was born in Newaygo, Michigan on October 3, 1919 to George & Lettie (Coral) Rettinhouse and married Clare Bogert on August 13, 1938. Mrs. Bogert was a lifelong resident of the Grand Haven area with the exception of the last few years when she lived with her daughter and son-in-law Mary and Bob Snell in Exeter, Missouri. She loved Michigan and that was always "home" to her. She attended Little Black Lake Baptist Church in Norton Shores and loved the people of that congregation. Agnes was known for her gift of hospitality and many folks were blessed by the meals at her table and the dishes she brought to the community and church potlucks. SURVIVORS She is survived by daughters, Linda Palmer of Murfreesboro TN, Sandra (Terry) Ruehs of Phoenix AZ, Mary (Robert) Snell of Exeter MO; 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clare in 1998. SERVICE Friday, June 26, 2015, 11:00 am at Little Black Lake Baptist Church with Rev. Garth Hutchison officiating. Interment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Thursday, June 25, 2015, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home-Fruitport. MEMORIAL: Little Black Lake Baptist Church.
