Adell Gathers, 87, of Muskegon, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024.

Adell was born March 20, 1937, the daughter of Albert and Rosa Williams. She married David Gathers early in her life and he preceded her in death when he was only 57 years old. Adell enjoyed puzzle books, dancing, and having a good time. She had also had a love for animals. She was a loving, caring mother who will be deeply missed.

SURVIVORS

Children, Emily (Sydney) Jackson of Florida, David (Dessiera) Gathers of Grand Rapids, Katherine (Robert) Hutchison of Charleston South Carolina, Meloney Gathers, Vivian Bankhead, Rose Gathers, Sharon (Clyde Snead) Austin, and Jonantonio Gathers; special grandson, Tyrone Gathers of Florida; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Willie Mae of Texas.

She was preceded in death by: her son, Ronald Gathers; sisters, Dorothy and Gladys "Hella Mae"; and son-in-law, Benny Bankhead.

Cremation will take place and no public services are being planned at this time.
