FRANK, MRS. ADAH BREHM SMITH Spring Lake, MI Mrs. Adah S. Frank, 96, beloved aunt & friend, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Saturday, November 8, 2003. She was born January 29, 1907 to George & Christina SchmidtPelton & grew up in Cadillac, MI. After graduating from the Harper Method of Beauty in Louisville, KY, she returned to Cadillac & became a beautician. She married Gustof A. Brehm in 1928. They lived in Kent, OH, Traverse City, MI & Holiday, FL where Gust died in 1980. Adah met & married Everett Smith in 1981 & lovingly lived with him in Holiday, FL until his death in 1988. At that time she moved to Independence Village in Frankenmuth, MI where she met & married Clarence Frank in 1988 & lovingly lived with him until he passed away in 1992. Upon his death, Mrs. Frank moved to Grand Haven, MI. For the past five years, she had lived at Oakcrest Manors in Spring Lake, MI. Adah's faith was lived out through her involvement in Lutheran churches in the various communities where she lived. For the last ten years, she was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Grand Haven, MI. In addition to church activities, Adah enjoyed sewing, reading, watching television & talking with people. Survivors: She is survived by many members of the Brehm, Smith & Frank families including Ross Brehm & MaryLinda Kittleman of Grand Haven, MI & their children Evan Heather Kittleman & Joshua Kittleman with whom she lived for 5 years. She is also survived by friends & fellow residents at Oakcrest Manors in Spring Lake, MI. Mrs. Frank was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Hazel; her brother Don & by her husbands, Gust, Everett, & Clarence. Service: A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, November 22, 2003 at 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 527 Taylor St., Grand Haven, MI with Rev. Phillip Baerwolf officiating. Interment will be at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens in Elfers, FL. Special thanks to the very loving staff of Oakcrest Manors for their expert care of & loving concern for Adah. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to God's Pantry at St. John's Lutheran Church or Hospice of North Ottawa Community, 1515 S. Despelder, Grand Haven, MI. Clock-Grand Haven
