Ada Jaeger

JAEGER, MRS. ADA MAXINE Muskegon Ada Maxine Jaeger, age 87 was born on May 3, 1920 to William and Edna (Schwandt) Abendroth in Markesan, WI and died on November 22, 2007. After graduating from Markesan High School, with the assistance of her cousin Dr. Alan Umbreit she moved to Muskegon, MI to attend Muskegon Community College and graduated from the Hackley School of Nursing. Ada married Leonard Bud Jaeger on October 18, 1946 in Michigan City, Indiana. Ada and Bud shared 55 happy years together before Buds death in 2002. Throughout her nursing career, she worked at Mercy Hospital, Visiting Nurses, Skilled Training Center, and before retiring worked, for 17 years as a nurse at the Muskegon County Health Department. SURVIVORS Ada leaves behind 2 daughters Barbara Barb (Doug) Wood, Kathleen Kathy (Tom) Sayles both of Muskegon and son David L. Jaeger of Roseville, MI. Grandchildren Thomas TJ Sayles; Elizabeth Linde Sayles; and Sarah (Rob) Wood Borak. Two sisters June Zauner of WI, Audrey Fabrizo of NJ, brother Arno Abendroth of WI; sister -in-law Sieglinde Abendroth and brother-in-law Frank Zauner both of WI, along with several nieces and nephews.
