Mrs. Vera Knapp, age 88, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on January 1, 1920 to Floyd L. & Audra (Garter) VanAllsburg and married William R. Knapp on August 31, 1940. Mrs. Knapp had been a homemaker and was a member of Central United Methodist Church. Vera also was an active member of the Woman's Club & Hackley Hospital Circle. SURVIVORS Brother, Floyd W. (Shirley) VanAllsburg of Grand Rapids; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 1983; brother, Warren G. VanAllsburg; sister, Louise Hackett. SERVICE Saturday, April 5, 2008, 11:00 AM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon with Chaplain Jan Johnson officiating. VISITATION Saturday, 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Central United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
