Steven Kratovil

Mr. Steven J. Kratovil, age 89, passed away Monday, October 26, 2009. He was born in Muskegon, MI on December 25, 1919 to John & JoHanna (Hansen) Kratovil. He served in the US Navy for 7 years and was stationed at Pearl Harbor. Steven was employed at Consumers Energy from where he retired. He was a member of the North Muskegon VFW Don Rea Post 8846 and enjoyed hunting, fishing & gardening. SURVIVORS He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Trena Wiersema Kratovil; children, Thomas Kratovil of Muskegon, Jean (Art) Dibell of Rockford, Mary Jo (Jim) Goudzwaard & Lori (Kris) Boyce of Muskegon; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; his sister, Francis Beck. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, John & Clem and sister, Mildred. SERVICE Thursday, October 29, 2009, 11:00 AM at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Ken Shady officiating. VISITATION Wednesday, 7-9 PM and Thursday, 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon.
