Shirley Walters

Shirley G. Walters, age 71, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015. She was born in Washington, DC on April 18, 1943 to Owen & Doris (Fitzpatrick) Brown. Shirley worked and retired as a teacher. She was employed at Muskegon High School, North Muskegon High School and Orchard View Adult Ed. during her career. She was a volunteer at Love Inc, the Red Cross and also active in DeColores and Marriage Encounter. SURVIVORS Daughters, Lisa (Erik) Johnson and their children: Haley, Claire and Cameron; Jennifer (Jeff) Hedges and their children: Anna, Alec, Elizabeth and Katherine; stepson, Michael (Linda) Walters and their daughter: Kori; step daughter, Mary Ellen (Mark) Walters and their daughter: Keighty; sister, Patricia (Lee) Lyon and their children: Scott and Melissa. SERVICE Friday, February 6, 2015, 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Dennis Buwalda officiating.
