Mrs. Norma J. Hanis, age 73, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at home. She was born in Muskegon, MI on February 21, 1940 to Norman & Edna (Witte) Lawson and married Joseph Hanis. Mrs. Hanis had been employed as a Nurse at North Ottawa Community Hospital for Dr. Mulder until retiring. She attended of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church and will be remembered as a loving and thoughtful mother and friend. SURVIVORS Children, JoDean Nicholl, Ricky (Tamara) Nicholl; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Edward (Judy) Imbault; sisters, Joy (Carl) VanLoon, Betty (Ray) Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph in 2005; daughter, Yvonne Nicholl in 1972. CELEBRATION OF LIFE Saturday, August 3, 2013, 12:00 noon at Lakeside Veterans Club. MEMORIAL: Mercy VNS & Hospice.
