Lillian Boonstra

BOONSTRA, MRS. LILLIAN North Muskegon Mrs. Lillian Boonstra, age 93, a life long resident, died Thursday, October 7, 2004. She was born on November 22, 1910 to Anthony & Magdalene Mazur Adamczyk & married Marion "M.C. Mike" Boonstra on October 30, 1939 in Peru, IN. Mrs. Boonstra was a founder & former co-owner, along with her husband & family, of the WMUS radio station. She was a member of the North Muskegon Book Club & was instrumental in full filling her life long dream of establishing the Grand Rapids Reformed Bible College. Mrs. Boonstra donated a fitness center at the college & provided multiple scholarships. SURVIVORS 1 brother, Raymond Irene Zmarly of IN; many nieces, nephews & great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, "M.C. Mike" Boonstra on July 25, 1981; 1 brother Edwin Zmarly & 2 sisters, Seffrana Drennan & Celia Heim. SERVICE Monday, October 11, 2004, 11:00 AM at First Christian Reformed Church with Rev. Michael Borgert officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION Sunday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: Hospice of Muskegon-Oceana or First Chrisitian Reformed Church.Clock - Muskegon
