Mrs. Iris Davis, age 75, of Grand Haven, passed away October 5, 2008. She married Charles F. Davis on Feb.25, 1933 in Grand Haven and both known for working with the Shiners' for many years. She is survived by her loving family; husband, Charles; children; Jennifer (Duke) De Leeuw, West Olive and Jeffrey (Brenda) Davis, Holland; 4 grandchildren; 1 sister and 2 brothers including George (Ruth) Hitsman, Grand Haven and William (Clara) Hitsman, Muskegon. The Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, Grand Haven. Interment at Grand Haven Lakeshore Cemetery. Friends may meet the family 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Klaassen Family Funeral Home. Memorials to Shiners' Children Burn Center.
