Dale Raffie

Mr. Dale Raffie, age 40, died Wednesday, November 26. He was born Nov. 3, 1968 in Muskegon to Dale & Bev (Wheater) Raffie. Dale was a graduate of Fruitport High School and married Donna Lawie September 5, 1998. He had been employed at Port City Industrial Finishing. SURVIVORS He is survived by wife, Donna; daughter, Emma; mother, Bev (Jim Martin) Raffie; two brothers, Alan (Anne) Vermeulen and Ray Vermeulen; three sisters, Cheryl (Elmo) Bell, Lynn (Jerry) Wright, and Tammie (Jim) Fisher; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; 5 close friends, Jeff, Rodney, Bob, Mike, and Brad. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gertrude Wheater and his brother, Greg Vermeulen. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. SERVICE A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2008, 11 AM, at Eastwood Church of the Nazarene, 2270 S. Mill Iron Rd. Casual dress with bright clothing please. Visitation will be Monday, December 1, 2008, 6-9 PM, at the church. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the family.
