Arlene Ames

Mrs. Arlene M. Ames, age 81, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012. She was born in Muskegon, MI on April 26, 1930 to Oliver & Hilda (Vold) Spaulding and married Russell G. Ames on October 14, 1949. Mrs. Ames had been a loving mother, grandmother & great grandmother who was an excellent cook. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Husband of 62 years, Russell; children, Frances (Dan) Thielbar of Muskegon, Rex Ames of New Era, Joan (Ron) Daugherty of Muskegon, Karl (Lilia) Ames of Twin Lake, Sandra (Frank) Siranni of Muskegon; grandchildren, Rex Ames Jr., Kelly (Marc) Venne, Stephanie (Todd) Bowen, Jennifer Holtrop, Paul Ames, Chet Ames, Joseph Sirianni, Alex Sirianni; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Howard Spaulding of FL. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Elaine Auble & Lorraine Buckley; special aunt & uncle August (Nora) Shaffer. SERVICE Saturday, April 7, 2012, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with officiating. Interment at Norton Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 6-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon.
