Alice Custer

CUSTER, MRS. ALICE Muskegon, MI Mrs. Alice Custer, age 93, died Sunday, December 15, 2002. She was born in Muskegon, MI on February 7, 1909 to Egbert & Winifred Kieft Sterenberg. Mrs. Custer had been employed as a teller at Comerica-Hackley Bank for 21 years until retiring in 1974 & was a member of Calvary Church for over 60 years. SURVIVORS 3 daughters, Eleanor Lyle VanderKooi of Prescott, AZ, Loraine Ronald Czarneke of Spring Lake, MI & Maxine Custer of Muskegon, MI; 8 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Bob Sterenberg of Grand Rapids, MI. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lois Johnston & by a sister, Elsie Bishop. SERVICE Thursday, December 19, 2002, 1:30 PM at Calvary Church with Dr. William Rudd officiating.
